In the frame of the tennis promotion in the regions that don’t have tennistic traditions, the Fédération Tunisienne de Tennis organized some days of formation in tennis in Tozeur, to fifteen P.E teachers working in the primary school and coming from Kébili, Gafsa and Tozeur.

The formation, however accelerated, aimed essentially the teaching of mini tennis, as being a step that is impossible to circumvent in the formation of a future tennis player. This action registers logically in the strategy of the federation, that organized in a first step, days of sensibilization of tennis in the school field and that furnished mini tennis equipment to 5 primary schools of each region and that the latter registered tennis in their physical education programs. The second step, aimed, through those formation days consists of establishing, in Tozeur, Gafsa and Kébili, Federal Centers of Formation in tennis, in the hope of creating clubs in these regions.

No one will ask him/herself the following question: Is there an appropriate infrastructure allowing the practicing of tennis? In fact, in each mentioned cities, tennis courts are established, either in indoors or in the « maisons de jeunes » that are necessary to use.

A partnership convention between the Fédération Tunisienne de Tennis and the Regional representatives of the Youth, of Sport and Physical Education is in a study case to guarantee all the conditions of success to this operation.
